A verified-visit badge on review and booking platforms.
Planned
A review shows "visited, March 2027", and the platform checks the proof. UK and EU rules push platforms to show how they check reviews, and a verified visit could be one way to do that.
Hereby’s pilot starts this winter, and nothing on this site can be used yet. The roadmap has the details.
The Hereby network
Reviews, bookings, events and rewards all work better when they can tell a real visit from someone's say-so. Many of them have no easy way to do that today.
Hereby's proof says a phone tapped here. It doesn't say who you are, and each place and each app gets a different private ID for the same person.
None of these exists today.

Planned
A festival, a market or a class can count the people who tapped.
Idea
A trail across wineries or a passport for a whole town, with taps that are hard to play from home.
Idea
A workshop or a conference could confirm attendance without collecting a list of names.
Planned
A visit matched to a sale through your point-of-sale system, so an owner sees visits and sales together. No integration exists today.
Idea
Brands, tourism boards and malls could pay for a verified new visit instead of an ad impression. It isn't a plan.
A platform you approve can see the visits you approve.
Planned For developers
Planned We plan to publish a fingerprint of every proof to a public record, so anyone can check that our record wasn't changed. We haven't chosen which public record yet. The details are on /how-it-works.
Planned Sensitive places, such as clinics and places of worship, are excluded. Our terms will forbid reselling visits and re-identifying visitors. A proof is never a name, an email, a phone number, a device ID or a location.
Review platforms, booking sites, brands, tourism boards, event organisers and developers. We plan to open to platforms in Phase 2, from mid-2027. That's a target, not a promise.
